Amanda Brezzell

Co-Founder and Creative Director Amanda Brezzell, hails from Detroit, Michigan. They are a graduate of both Eastern Michigan University (B.S. ‘18) and Georgetown University (M.S. BHTA ‘19). Combining their background in Hard Sciences, Public Health and African American Studies with their education and experience in community rebuilding and sustainable agriculture, they started Fennigan’s Farms to help build resilient communities everywhere. From designing green spaces to understanding what goes into restructuring communities around local sustainable agriculture, Amanda understands their craft and is passionate about using these skills to help their community and those like it.

Claire Austin

Claire Austin, Co-Founder, and Business Manager comes to Fennigan’s Farms with over 7 years of project management and administration experience. She is also a Detroit native and is dedicated to Fennigan’s because she believes a food sovereign future is possible. She is serious about making sustainable changes in the food system and 1 step ahead when it comes to taking on our next big idea. If you receive an email or phone call, chances are you are speaking to Claire!

From building the physical spaces to grow and sell food to equipping you with the tools necessary to expand your community ag service, we’ve got you covered. We believe in leading with love and kindness and are dedicated to supporting the food freedom movement nationwide. We built Fennigan’s Farms as our living love letter to others living in the margins and we’re excited to grow with you!
